JE Berkowitz Architectural Glass Plant Tour

JE Berkowitz welcomes the Building Enclosure Council (BEC) of Baltimore to tour its 253,000 sq. ft. facility in Pedricktown, NJ. Attendees will get a first-hand look at high-quality architectural glass fabrication, with an emphasis on cutting, edge-deletion, CNC fabrication, polishing, heat treating, ceramic frit spandrel application, silkscreened glass, insulating glass and all-glass systems such as doors, canopies and structural glass walls. Attendees will also meet several members of JEB’s Quality Control Team, where they will learn about crucial quality control checks monitoring roller-wave distortion, bow & warp, argon fill, tint-variation testing – All of which align with JEB’s ISO-9001 Certification.

The plant tour will be followed by an educational presentation stressing the importance of specifying high-quality architectural glass. Lunch will be served.

Lunch will be provided following the tour. The tour is approximately 1-1/2 hours minimum in duration. The seminar is approximately 1 hour in duration and will follow the tour and lunch.

Attendees: Maximum of 15. Attendees must provide their own transportation to the plant or make arrangements with other attendees to carpool. Visitor parking is available at the JE Berkowitz Plant.
